Irene My Life is the online presence for a successful Instagram influencer. The account features Irene’s beautiful Cotswolds home, sharing her life experiences and ideas for sustainable, thoughtful living.

Sugar was tasked with building two websites based on designs supplied by the talented Pascale. With her involvement we paid care and attention to colours, fonts and layouts, ensuring that the design worked across the websites and the email templates we created for Irene’s newsletter.

Shop Website

The main website promotes Irene’s newsletter and sets out the different themes running through the content: Style, Home, Garden and Travel. These themes tie into an online shop. The shop will be developed over time and currently offer E Guides, Consultations and affiliate links.

Newsletter Support Website

We had the need for a second newsletter support website for this project. This would offer a “gated” space for archiving Irene’s newsletter. Using the Make service to interrogate the email list, we could ensure that anyone viewing the archive were signed up for the monthly newsletter.

Technical Notes

Looking at these sites from a technical point of view, we used Bootstrap for our web framework. The shop is run on the WooCommerce plugin, with heavily modified templates.  On this project we’ve made use of the Appointment plugin from BookingWP. Other plugins include Gravity Forms and the Stackable blocks plugin.
