Lucerna Ltda. grow their own
sugar cane, which is then converted to several forms of panela in
their own trapiche (small factory) on the farm.
In addition to sugar cane the farm
produces organic milk and cheese which is sold for local consumption.
Both cattle and pigs are bred which
assist with a wholly ecological production cycle. |
